Amrapali Dubey Biography

Amrapali Dubey is a popular film actress associated with Bhojpuri cinema. She is also associated with Hindi television shows. She made her Bhojpuri film debut with Nirahua Hindustani in 2014 where she was paired with Dinesh Lal Yadav. It was followed by Patna se Pakistan and Nirahua Rikshawala 2. Since then she is one of the top actresses of Bhojpuri cinema. She played the lead role of Simon in Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Chhaon Mein. She also appeared in Saat Phere and Maayka, aired on Zee TV. Haunted Nights on Sahara one, Fear Files etc are a few more television roles.

She hails from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. She was born on 11 January 1987. She shifted to Mumbai from Gorakhpur along with her grandfather where she completed her higher education. She studied at Bhavans College, Mumbai. Initially she wanted to become a doctor. She started her career with modelling before she moved to television. “Saat Phere” was her debut series, and she got her first television offer through an audition. She was not good in education, says Amrapali. That’s why she started giving auditions.

“Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein”, where she played the lead role shot her to instant fame. Since then she appeared in a few more television roles, before she made her Bhojpuri film debut in 2014. One of the cute and beautiful actresses of Bhojpuri cinema at present, she is one of the most promising young actresses at present. She frequently worked with Dinesh Lal Yadav, and their combination worked at box office. She received BIFA (Bhojpuri International Film Awards) 2015 for best actress in a supporting role. Jigarwala, Aashiq Aawara, Baagi Bhaile Sajna and Raja Babu are her recent releases.
