Alka Verma Biography

Alka Verma is a model and actress, who works on small screen as well as Bollywood. She played lead role opposite Mohammed Iqbal Khan in the romantic movie – Unforgettable in 2014. As a television actress, she is best known for her work in CID, where she played the role of Sub-Inspector Muskaan, where she shared screen space with Senior Inspector Daya. She is an entrepreneur too, who has started a coffee shop with her friends. The coffee shop is named Coffee Adha.

Alka started her career in the famous TV show C.I.D. Before that she has appeared in numerous commercial ads. Known for her cute smile, this model is an animal lover too. After quitting CID, she was seen in the Bollywood film, Unforgettable in 2014. Actually she quit the show after she got a promising role in Bollywood. She was very much excited when she received her first Bollywood offer. However the movie was a failure at box office and went unnoticed. A love triangle, the film is about the classic choice between 'First Love' and 'Soul mate'. She played the role of Thara, Anand’s love interest in the movie.

The movie was directed by Arshad Yusuf Pathan, and he spotted Alka after seeing her in TV commercials. The movie also featured Hazel Crownee, Kiran Kumar, Shahbaz Khan and Usha Bachani, and Irish cricketers Nial O'Brien and William Porterfield in cameo roles. Though she has appeared in a Bollywood movie, she is still remembered for her role as Muskaan in CID. Her first episode was the Red Rose Killer and last was the case of Inspector Daya's Abduction.
