Akhila Kishore Biography

Akhila Kishore is a south Indian film actress who shot to fame after playing the female lead in Tamil comedy - Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam released in 2014. She was nominated for Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress the same year. She made her film debut through 2013 Kannada movie - Padhe Padhe which earned her a nomination at SIIMA Award for Best Kannada Female Debut. Her 2015 release Inimey Ippadithan turned out to be a blockbuster and one more Tamil film - Moondraam Ullaga Por is lined to release this December. She has a kit of Tamil assignments and one of the top actresses right now.

She was born in Bangalore in 1990. She completed Engineering in IT from Global Academy of Technology. Since she was attracted to entertainment industry, she started modelling and appeared in several beauty pageants. She became Femina Miss India Bangalore 2013 competition, which helped her to bag the first Kannada film. Padhe Padhe marked her acting debut and also helped her to earn a nomination at SIIMA Award for Best Debut. The movie in which she played the role of a poor singer was a neat entertainer which received positive responses from critics and audience.

Very soon she attended audition for her first Tamil film, which she eventually got. Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam released in 2014 marked her successful debut in Tamil films and she became a busy actor very soon. Since then she is associated with Tamil cinema. She is also signed for the sequel of Kathai Thiraikathai Vasanam Iyakkam. Her upcoming movies include - Kathai Irukku in Tamil apart from two Kannada films – Kalabhairava and Boys. Currently she is shooting multi-starrer Boys which has five heroines and also did stunt sequences for the movie.
