Akhil Herwadkar Biography
Akhil Herwadkar is an Indian cricket player who plays for Mumbai under 19 team and India under 19 team. He is a left handed batsman and bowls in right arm off break style.
He was born on 31st October 1994 in Jaysingpur near Sangli in Maharashtra. His full name is Akhil Arvind Harwadkar. He has one sister. He has great passion for cricket and so moved from Kolhapur to Mumbai to realize his dream. He represented Mumbai in the 2011-12 Ranji cricket season. He was a part of the Mumbai Under 19 team that grabbed the Cooch Behar trophy in 2011-12.
He made his first class debut match for Mumbai in November 2011. In the match against Australia in April 2012, he was able to get 45 runs. He was honored as the Best Junior Cricketer of the Season and Best Junior Cricketer Under 16 for the season 2010-11 by Mumbai Cricket Association.
