Ajay Devgan Biography 
Ajay Devgn is an Indian actor, film producer and director. His original name was Vishal Veeru Devgan. He made his film debut in the film Phool Aur Kaante in 1991 and got Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. He then acted in various films such as Jigar, Dilwale, Suhaag, Naajayaz, Diljale and Ishq.
He was born on 2nd April 1969 in New Delhi. His father Veeru Devgan is a choreographer for stunts and his mother is Veena Devgan. His father is a Punjabi Sikh from Amritsar. He has one brother Anil Devgan who is a Hindi film director. He studied at Bappu School in Juhu and then at Mithibai College.
He married the Hindi film actress Kajol on 23rd February 1999. They have two children, daughter Nysa born in April 2003 and son Yug born in September 2010. He is the first Hindi film personality to buy an aircraft for transport.
He worked with Karishma Kapoor in the film Jigar in 1992 which was one of the highest grosser of the year. Then he acted in some films Dilwale, Suhaag and Vijaypath in 1994. He appeared in Naajayaz in 1995 which was nominated for Filmfare Best Actor Award.
Some of the films that he acted include Jigar, Dil Hai Betaab, Divya Shakti, Platform, Sangram, Shaktiman, Phool Aur Kante, Naajayaz, Major Saab, Zakhm, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Lajja, Tera Mera Saath Rahen, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Deewangee, Company, Khakee, Kaal, Apaharan, Omkara, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Aakrosh, Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji, etc.
The year 2006 was a remarkable year for him. He starred in two famous films Golmaal and Omkara. However 2007 was disappointing with only two movies. He produced the films Raju Chacha, U, Me aur Hum and All The Best: Fun Begins. His film All The Best: Fun Begins gave him a good business. The film Singham released on 22nd July 2011 was a biggest hit.
