Aishwarya Nag Biography

Aishwarya Nag is an upcoming Kannada actress and model. She made her acting debut through the film Neene Neene (2008), where she played the lead role of Nandini opposite young actor Sameer Dattani. Two movies back to back - Jolly Days (2009) and Kal Manja (2010) earned her instant success and popularity. ‘Jolly days’ was the remake of the Telugu hit Happy Days which earned her critical acclaim for her natural acting. She has been a model who joined film industry. She has played lead roles in movies such as Darode, Jollydays, Manja, Jiddi, Chella pilli and Loosegalu. Presently, she is working on a film titled ‘Vasundhara’ directed by T.S. Nagabharana, where she plays the female lead. In 2013, her movie Chella Pilli was a big success.

Her father belongs to Mangalore, Karnataka. She was born and brought up in Muscat. She has been associated with Karavali since childhood and she used to regularly visit this place. Her mother Prashanthi Nayak has been associated with film industry and has won fame as well. So Aishwarya was well promoted by her mother and she was introduced to film industry by her mother.

She played lead role in 2008 movie, ‘Neene Neene’ while she was doing II P.U. Yet she didn’t accept too many roles as she concentrated in her studies as well. Throughout years, she has always tried to accept entirely different type of roles. She looked bubbly in the movie ‘Loosegalu’ while she played the role of a desi house girl in the movie ‘Chella pilli’. She plays the role of a doctor in her upcoming movie, Vasundhara. She is an NRI who visits India only during film shooting.
