Ahaana Krishna Biography

Ahaana Krishna is an upcoming actress associated with Malayalam film screen. She shot to fame with her debut flick -Njan Steve Lopez, made by Rajeev Ravi. She stepped into film industry in 2014. The male lead was played by Farhaan Faasil, the younger son of film director Fazil and the younger brother of popular actor, Fahadh Faasil. The movie also marked Farhaan’s acting debut. The film opened to positive reviews by film critics and the acting performance of its lead actors was lauded. Ahaana played the childhood friend of Lopez, the character played by Farhaan for the movie.  Anjali was her screen name for the role.

Ahaana Krishna was born and brought up in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She is the daughter of popular actor of Malayalam small screen, Krishna Kumar. She was born in the year 1995. She completed her schooling from Holy Angels' ISC School in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city. Later she moved to Chennai to pursue her higher studies. She is currently doing her graduation at M. O. P. Vaishnav College. She marked her film debut at the age of 19. It’s quite lucky for Ahaana that she got opportunity to work with National award winning cinematographer and director of Malayalam and Hindi cinema, Rajeev Ravi.

Since younger days Ahaana was interested in cultural shows. She got her first modelling assignment for Vedika saris. She was spotted after her appearance in a cultural show. Rajeev Ravi happened to see this ad and offered her the female protagonist for his directorial debut, Annayum Rasoolum. But she declined the offer due to her busy academic schedule. The movie went on to become a major critical and commercial success. When Ravi offered her the second film, Ahaana accepted it without any hesitation.
