Adnan Sami Biography 
Adnan Sami is a famous pop singer and playback singer who now resides in Mumbai. He is a successful music composer also. As a composer his debut movie – Lucky: No time to love was a big hit. He has released many successful pop albums in his name and he was featured in most of those music videos along with leading ladies of Bollywood town. He has been in news since he reduced his weight of about 145 kgs in just 16 months. He did so as his life was at risk; he was suffering from obesity problems and doctors told him, he won’t live more than 6 months if conditions remain so. He is a live example of how sincerity and strong determination can cut a few pounds from your body. As a pop singer, his most successful albums include Always yours (Bheegi bheegi rathom mein), Kabhi to nazar milo (along with Asha Bhosle), Tera Chehra and Teri Kasam. His other albums include Ek ladki deewani si, Kise din and Press Play is his recent released album after his return from bad health. As a playback singer, ‘E Udi udi’ of Saathiya, ‘Gila gila’ of Aitraaz and ‘Mehbooba’ of Ajnabi are his most popular hits.
Adnam Sami was born and brought up in London. His father is Pakistani and his mother Kashmiri. During teens, Adnan Sami used to perform piano in television programs. When he visited India, he has learned from Pandit Shivkumar Sharma. He graduated from University of London and he was the first person who played Indian classical music on electric piano.
His first English album was released in 1986 and it became successful, followed by a series of songs. His first Indian album was based on Indian classical music was “The One & Only”. He debut playback singing in Pakistan with the movie Sargam in 1995; he was the leading hero too. It’s best selling Pakisthani album till now. He sang along with Asha Bhosle. With the rise of new millennium, many music albums were released in India and his talent in using piano was also noted. Among the leading actors who worked with him in his music videos include Big B, Govinda, Aditi Goswami, Diya Mirza, Mahima Chaudary, Aarthi Chabariya and Rani Mukherjee.
His big hits include Tera Chehra jab nazar aaye, Kabhi to nazar milao, Mujhko bhi tu lift karade, Roote hue kyon and Bheegi bheegi raatom bein.
