Aditya Narayan Jha Biography

Aditya Narayan Jha, popularly known as Aditya Narayan is the son of famous Bollywood playback singer Udit Narayan. He has worked for a few movies as a child artist, sung a few songs and has anchored a few popular television shows as well. He works as an actor of Nepali and Bollywood movies at present and does music composition as well. Yet all prefer to know him as a popular child actor during 1990’s who was featured in Rangeela Re song of the movie Rangeela in 1995.

Aditya Narayan has done playback singing for a few movies during 90’s as a child of which Rangeela re song of Rangeela, Chota bacha samachke humko of Masoom and Tu mera dil (Oh I love you daddy) of Akele hum akele tum are most popular. The song of Akele hum akele tum became immensely popular since he sang this song with his dad, Udit Narayan. The lyrics explained well the relationship between these two and they together have sung this song in many live concerts during 90’s. He was only 6 when his playback singing career began with. Apart from Rangeela, he has also worked as a child artist for movies – Pardes and Jab pyar kise se hota hai. He played the role of Salman Khan’s son in Jab pyar kise se hota hai. His other movies as a child artist include Chachi 420, Ghoonghat, Hum Sath Sath Hain, Taal, Papa the great and Shastra.  

Aditya Narayan Jha was born as the son of Udit Narayan Jha and Deepa Narayan Jha on August 6, 1987. Aditya was born in and grew up in Mumbai. He completed his schooling in 2003. He graduated from Tech School of Music in London and did a one year course in English contemporary music at Tech Music Schools in London. He returned back, he went for an audition in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. He was selected and he became the anchor of the show when he was just 19.

As a leading actor, he debut with Vikram Bhatt’s Shaapit in the year 2010. His voice was also used for singing four of its hit songs. He composed the title track as well.
