Aditi Vasudev Biography

Aditi Vasudev is a Hindi film actress, best known for comedy flicks - Do Dooni Chaar (2010) and Sulemani Keeda (2014). Both the movies were well appreciated by critics. She got noticed for the first time playing Rishi Kapoor's daughter in the highly praised and commercially successful film - Do Dooni Chaar (2010). She also played female lead in the comedy film - Sulemani Keeda (2014) that was highly praised by critics. Currently she plays the parallel lead of the TV series, Meri Aawaaz Hi Pehchaan Hain.

In 2016 she made her TV debut through the TV series in the spotlight - "Meri Aawaaz Hi Pehchaan Hain", which is rumoured to be based on the life of legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle and their rivalry in the profession. The show was premiered on 7 March 2016, and is being broadcast on &TV.  Amrita Rao, noted Bollywood actress is to make her TV debut through this show playing the elder sister Kalyani’s role while Aditi plays the younger sister, Ketki. Deepti Naval and Zarina Wahab play the role of their older versions. Mehnaz charmed the audience in Aditi’s childhood role.

Aditi Vasudev had a passion to acting since her school days. So she quit her college studies and moved to Mumbai where she took three months acting course at Barry John School. Originally she wanted to join Royal Academy of Dramatic Art to learn theater. Do Dooni Chaar, directed by Habib Faisal was her first break to Bollywood and she got noticed for the supporting role. Then she was seen in a supporting role of Mallika in Aamir Khan- Kareena Kapoor starrer Talaash: The Answer Lies Within. She played female lead in Sulemani Keeda directed by Amit V Masurkar.
