Adam Sinclair Biography 
Adam Sinclair is an Indian hockey player who took part in the Indian hockey team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He started playing international matches in May 2004. The Four Nation Tournament held at Gifu in Japan in 2004 marked his international debut.
Adam Sinclair was born on 29th February 1984 in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. He married Vyshali Nair on 4th May 2012. He completed his studies at Stanes Higher Secondary School at Coimbatore. He was interested in field hockey from his school days and served as the captain of the school hockey team. His team was able to win many tournaments under his able leadership. He also was elected as the pupil leader in his school and headed the Panthers team in the intra-school sports event in 2001.
Adam’s full name is Adam Antony Sinclair. He completed his higher studies from Coimbatore PSG College of Arts and Science. He was also interested in other athletic activities and has won medals for triple jump, high jump and long distance running events.
He played for the Chennai Veerans and Chennai Cheetahs teams. He also played for the Indian Overseas Bank hockey team. He went into controversy when Dhanraj Pillay accused that he was able to get into the 2004 Athens Olympics Indian Hockey Team only by convincing an official, the IHF secretary K. Jothikumaran. But this accusation was summarily denied by Sinclair.
