Adah Sharma is a noted film actress whose debut film 1920, directed by Vikram Bhatt garnered rave reviews for her performance. This horror thriller was declared a super hit and thus she had a magic entry in Bollywood. Adah was born in Palakkad district of Kerala and started her career doing Malayalam ads like Joy Alukkas Jewellers. Limca, Nokia, Olay natural white and Parachute Hair oil are her other noted television ads. Her second movie was another horror thriller, Phir released in 2011, where she was casted aside Rajneesh Duggal and Roshni Chopra.

Adah was born in Palakkad on May 11, 1989. Her father is a captain in the merchant navy and her mother is a dancer and Yoga instruction. Thus Adah doesn’t own any film background. But she is a child prodigy who started reciting Bhagavat Gita at the age of only 3. Her schooling was done at Auxilium Convent in Pali hill, where she currently resides. She is a trained gymnast and Kathak dancer. She learnt Kathak from Gopi Krishna’s Dance Academy, where she took graduation from this dance form. At present she is in relationship with a male model from Mumbai, Summit Bahri.

Adah Sharma made her cinematic debut with 1920 in the year 2008. Though she was a debutant, she easily handled the role as an experienced actress and her role was well appreciated also. Her role as Lisa Singh Rathod gave her a nomination at Filmfare for best debut actress. As a television ad model, her ad aside Sharman Joshi for Nokia became very popular. Later she appeared in Bollywood movies - Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke (2013), a comedy movie. Her upcoming Hindi project is Hasee Toh Phasee. She is to debut Telugu with the movie, Heart attack directed by Puri Jagannath.
