Adaa Khan Biography

Adaa Khan is a well-established model and television actress. She played the parallel role (negative shade) in Amrit Manthan – the show aired on Life Ok in 2012-2013 and Piya Basanti Re on Sony Pal in 2014. Currently she plays the parallel lead/negative role of Sesha (Naagin) in the popular fantasy series, Naagin, aired on Colors. Associated with television shows since 2009, she entered the field through Palampur Express aired on Sony TV, where she played the role of Anita Kulkarni. Later she was seen in the shows, Behenein, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Savdhaan India @ 11, Crime Patrol, Code Red etc, apart from her lead roles.

She was born in Chennai in 1989. She started her professional career as a model and appeared in many television ads. Sony India's TV show Palampur Express marked her television debut in 2009. She played the parallel lead role - Anita Kulkarni. Then she bagged a supporting role in Behenein and also played episodic shows like Yeh Hai Aashiqui and Savdhaan India @ 11. Amrit Manthan in 2012 was her major breakthrough. She shared screen space with Ankita Sharma and Dimple Jhangiani for the show. For the title role of Rajkumari Amrit Kaur Sodhi, she received Jury award for Best Actress in a Negative Role at 2013 Indian Telly Awards and was also nominated for the same award in the popular category.

She played role Piya in Piya Basanti Re on Sony Pal in 2014. But the show was not so successful and hence called off. Her negative role of Sesha (Naagin) is one of the best roles she played till now. She received Best actress in a Negative role 2015 at Lions Gold awards for her performance as Nagin.
