Aby Tom Cyriac Biography 
Aby Tom Cyriac is a noted music composer associated with Malayalam cinema and short films. He is also known as a Music Arranger & Programmer who works with leading music directors of the industry. 2016 Prithviraj movie ‘Paavada’ is his latest release, where he composed some of the memorable songs like "Kuruthakkedinte Koodane","Paavam Paavada" and "Eha Loka Jeevitham". The songs also got noticed for regular actors appearing as playback singers. These songs are sung by actor Jayasurya, playback singer Ranjith and veteran actor Nedumudi Venu respectively. Lyrics was written by B. K. Hari Narayanan. The song "Kuruthakedinte Koodane", sung by actor Jayasurya is already a chartbuster, viewed by more than 1.6 lakh social media users within three days of its release.
He belongs to Kanjirappally, Kottayam, born in the year 1989 to a Christian couple. Since young he was spotted for his music talents and he was a singer of church choir also. He started stage shows at a very young age and it was a Christian priest Fr. Sebastian Vechookarottu who played a significant role in grooming his career. Through devotional programs and stage shows, slowly he developed as an artist, though he has no formal training in any forms of Indian classical music. Slowly he got fascinated with Music arranging and programming and got his first chance in movies while doing graduation.
He has worked with many leading composers of Malayalam film industry like Alphons Joseph, Berny Ignatius, Gopi Sunder, Deepak Dev etc and also worked for a few short films. As a music arranger he has worked for more than 200 movies belonging to all south Indian languages, apart from over 100 jingles. Second Innings released in 2013 was his first break as an independent music composer, though ‘Paavada’ is his first hit. He composed music for the short film – Moonnamidam, which bagged DBISFF Best Original Music Award, EKTA Short Film Festival Best Music Director and Festellen Film Festival Best Music Director.
