Abhishek Pradhan is an Indian squash player who represents India in international matches. As of February 2010 he ranked 291 in the world in that game which is his highest world ranking.

 

Abhishek Pradhan was born on 17th August 1993 in Mumbai in Maharashtra. He lives in Chennai. He is a member of the Indian Squash Academy and his coaches are Major R Maniam and Cyrus Poncha.

 

His first international participation was in January 2011 in the Asian Junior Team Championship held at Sri Lanka. In the same year, in April he took part in Kolkata International event and reached the first qualifying round. In June 2011 he took part in the Asian Junior u19 Championship held at Jordan and could reach up to quarter finals and was able to create some sensations.

 

He ended up as the runner up in the Indian Junior u19 Open held in September 11. Then he played for India in World Junior Team Championship, World Junior Championship, Asian Junior U19 Championship, British Junior U19 Open, Squash Works Open in 2011 and 2012.

 

His remarkable achievements are reaching semi-finals in the Men’s Open in Otters Open Squash Tournament in May 2011, winning the Men’s Final, Team Event Asian Junior Team Championships in Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2011, reaching semi-finals in Boys U19 in Sub Junior / Junior National Squash Championship in October 2010 and ending up as the runner up in the Boys U 19 Otters Open Squash Tournament in May 2011.
