Abhijeet Khandkekar is an Indian television actor and anchor associated with Marathi entertainment. He also appears in Marathi movies. He is also a successful radio jockey. He hails from Pune and is a known face in Marathi entertainment industry. Mazhya Navraychi Bayko is one of his popular roles, with which he is identified most. He played the role of Gurunath Subhedar in the show with grey shades. Though he got initial recognition as an anchor, he doesn’t want to brand himself as an anchor, and is real dream is to become a successful actor. As an anchor he is best known for anchoring movies-based shows, and is quite popular among youngsters of Maharashtra.

 

A known-face of Marathi television, Abhijeet Khandkekar was born in Pune. He was born on 7th July, 1986. After schooling he graduated in Mass Communication. Since young his talents were spotted by his parents who always motivated him. He found his lady love, Sukhada Deshpande on Facebook and she is a Kathak dancer. Abhijeet began his career in media as a Radio Jockey, before entering the acting field. He also hosted many ceremonies and shows long before he started his career as RJ, and still continues the same.

 

As a television actor, Abhijeet marked his acting debut with Marathi TV soap, Majhiya Priyala, and won many hearts with his charming personality and acting skills. He mostly appears in supporting roles and was later seen in Marathi TV shows like Mazhya Navraychi Bayko. He is a popular TV anchor of film-based shows and also hosts live events. In the movie, Bhay, he played the challenging role of schizophrenic youngster. Other Marathi movies are ‘Jai Maharashtra Dhaba Bhatinda’, ‘Mamachya Gavala Jaooya’ and ‘Dhol Taashe’.
