Abhay Vakil Biography

Abhay Vakil is an Indian actor and model who predominantly works for Hindi television shows. He is also a magician who performs on stage. He is best known for the TV series, Saajan. Earlier he has played the supporting role of Parth in the popular drama series, Ghar Ghar Ki Kahani. The male protagonist Ranauk Tiwari in Silsila …. Pyar Ka is also a popular role he played on small screen. The show was aired on Star Plus January 4, 2016 – June 5 2016 and has been pulled off most recently due to low rating. But the show earned him a nomination at Star Parivaar Awards 2016 for ‘Best Beta’ category. Associated with television for past few years, he plans to join Gujarati film industry very soon.

Abhay hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. He schooled at New Era High School and continued his studies at HR College. He received traing in acting from Roshan Taneja. He is a professional illusionist and has been performing magic tricks since the last 8 years or so. His fascination to magic started on his fifth birthday, when his father invited a magician for the occasion to show some tricks. He started learning since then and has performed over 200 shows around Mumbai in the past 8 years. He has also been associated with Gujarati plays and done a few a couple of years back. He is to debut Gujarati big screen soon. The film is titled 'Wassup - Kem Cho.'

Abhay earned recognition through the most recent series, Silsila …. Pyar Ka where he played the male lead opposite Chhavi Pandey. The show was replaced in June 2016 with a new fiction called ‘Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyar Kya Karein’. He loves to play both positive and negative roles. The actor believes that a character with shades of grey is quite relatable than a sweet coated good guy onscreen.
