Priyanka Chopra entered the film industry after winning the Miss World title. Getting Miss World title made Priyanka Chopra photos and Priyanka Chopra videos popular. She entered Bollywood after her debut film in Tamil named Thamizhan in 2002. No one thought that she will enter the modeling industry as both her parents are physicians. However she could win the world for her through her great talents in acting.

Priyanka Chopra was praised for her thriller movie Kaminey released in 2009 which is all about the twin brothers Guddu and Charlie, one mistaken for the other. Shahid Kapoor played this role and Priyanka played the role of the lover and wife of one of them, Guddu. Charlie was into bad manners and lost all his savings and police arrests Guddu mistakenly thinking him as Charlie. Finally the truth is revealed and Guddu’s wife delivers twins.

The horror thriller 7 Khoon Maaf which means Seven Murders Forgiven is based on the story of Ruskin Bond titled Susanna’s Seven Husbands. Priyanka Chopra played the role of the Anglo-Indian lady Susanna who kills her husbands one after the other for different reasons and finally frustrated of marriage makes Jesus her husband. Her first husband was jealous and possessive, her second husband was a bad man and had affairs with many women, her third husband was a sadist who tortures her at bed and the fourth one was found to be married already. She killed all of them due to their flawed characters and killed her fifth husband for his unquenched appetite for sex. The sixth husband was an old man who married her for her money and tried to kill her to inherit the money. She understood his trick and killed him instead. Her servant died in that attempt and the police mistook the servant for Susanna and closed the case. Susanna turns a nun in the end.

What’s You Raashee? is another important film in which Priyanka Chopra played the role of 12 different girls having 12 different zodiac signs. This film is about the belief in astrology and the search of a young man to find his wife. After many twists and turns the film has a happy ending with the union of the lovers.

Dostana is one of the highest grossing films in 2008 and is a gay story. Two men try to get an apartment for rent and in that process they are forced to tell a lie that they are gays to an old lady. However, both of them falls in love with Priyanka and struggle not able to disclose this truth as she is related to that lady. This romantic comedy ends happily and Priyanka prefers to marry not any of them but their friend Abhimanyu, the part played by Bobby Deol.

Her film Fashion is about the flaws of the modeling industry which appears to be a heaven when looked from outside. Priyanka Chopra wanted to become a super model and so without paying heed to the words of her father leaves her home. She could not get success and loses her virginity in her attempts. She has affairs with many men and even had to undergo abortion. She rises to fame but this is short lived. Finally she was frustrated and comes back home. Then again she tries her best and goes to great heights again. This is all about the career that she bears on her shoulders and so her performance was welcomed with great applause.
