She is just 15 years old, she has achieved “Young Achiever Award” from Indian Embassy, she is the title winner “Miss Teenage Southern British Colombia” in “Canada Miss Teen competition”. She is young achiever Miss Aashritha.
Miss Aashritha says “My father’s native is Royuru, mother is from Karnataka who is a tamilian, and she is a dentist. When I was 5 years old we shifted to Canada. At the age of 5 I started my coaching of Barthnatyam, after shifting to Canada I continued my coaching. I given stage shows. I work as a voluntary for Indo Canada Association, gradually I got a chance to work in Irasa Institute. This institute collected funds for the welfare of Africa poor citizens. I used to give stage performances and organize a stall at that time and sell one or the other. I earn around 600 dollars for each stage show. Yearly I perform around 50 stage shows. The money collected from my dance shows will be donated to Irasa Institute. Till now I have donated 10000 dollars to this institute. Continuing my studies I made researchs on topics like “World Hunger” and “Poverty”.
In the year 2013 when I was studying in my 8th standard I came to know about the competition “Canada Miss Teen”, I totally didn't have any idea about how the show would be, but just thought of participating in it. My mother encouraged for this. After applying for this competition they took a phone interview, before national wise competition there was a state wise competition and I got selected in it, after taking IQ examination they selected me for the competition. In this I won a award “Miss Teenage Southern British Colombia”
This year I am studying my 9th standard. Its my summer holidays so I came to my grandma’s house for vacation. One day we all were filled with joy when my mother received a mail stating that Miss Aashritha has been invited for dinner with Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. I spend around 3 hours with Sir and those moments were my best part of my life.
