The wall is all around for the protection of this mountain, it is said that this fort was formerly the capital of Amer. Amber Fort:

Situated at a short distance of just 11 kms from the State capital, Jaipur, the fort is flocked by the tourists throughout the year. The fort is generally pronounced as Amer Fort. The construction of the fort was initiated by Raja Man Singh in 1592; it was however completed by Raja Jai Singh I. Overlooking the Maota Lake, the fort stands to be a great work of fusion of the Hindu and the Mughal architecture.  Apart from the well decorated walls, the courtyards give a rich look to the fort. The must see places in the fort are the ‘Diwan-e-Aam’, Trippola Gate, Lion Gate, Zenana region and also the Sheesh mahal. Many famoush movies have been made here like Bajirao Mastani, Bol Bachan, Veer, Jodha Akbar, Khoobsurat and Mirch.

 

 

Jaigarh Fort:

The Jaigarh Fort, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th(1726) Century, is a magnificent palace located on the "Cheel ka Teela" promontory of the Aravallis range in Jaipur, Rajasthan; it overlooks the Amber Fort and the Maota Lake, near Amber in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The architect named Vidyadhar had designed it and this fort was built to show the rich culture of the city of Jaipur. Being located on the height of this fort, this city can be seen throughout the city. It was primarily a residential building of the kings but later it was used as arsenal. According to the texture, this fort resembles its neighboring fort, Amber Fort, which is located 400 meters below it. There are many famous movies made here.
