Art Bengaluru, South India's largest contemporary Art Festival, is proud to present Santoor Maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, performing LIVE at The Collection at UB City, on Sunday, 24th Aug 2014 at 6pm. Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma, the master instrumentalist of the Santoor, a folk instrument of Jammu & Kashmir, is credited with making the instrument popular across the globe. A recipient of both national & international awards, Pandit has been conferred with the Padma Shri Award, Padma Vibhushan, an Honorary Citizenship of the City of Baltimore, USA, and many more. 'Art Bengaluru 2014', the annual proprietary event of The Collection at UB City and Sublime Galleria, starts on 21 August 2014 and will continue till 30 August 2014. Started in 2010, South India's largest Art Festival is a mélange of artwork and artists from across the country, as well as from abroad. This season, the festival will showcase 13 top galleries including one from New York & Vietnam, apart from presenting one of China's most popular artists, Liu Bolin and his work, for the first-time ever in India.
